"We bought a winter home in late April 2020 working with Todd Locassio as our realtor. We started looking with him in January and as it was going to be a winter home we had more time and were more critical in what we would accept. We also wanted to be on a golf course so that further restricted our choices; we were kind of a hard sell. Todd gave us many choices the first few months and truly got to know us and what we were looking for in a home. He was very good communicating with us and helped greatly as we reviewed homes. When we started it was a sellers market but we finally came across a reasonable home and made an offer, the owner indicated she wanted to sell quickly but never responded to our offer even after additional contacts by Todd. Then the Coronavirus started to hit and the market dried up. Todd was still looking and communicating but for a few weeks there was nothing. We were going North near the end of March when he called with a home that had just come onto the market, only hours before. We went to see it and it was a great fit for us. We were leaving in two days as were the owners, we had a good discussion with them and Todd and made an offer that day. Todd immediately got us the paperwork so the offer was submitted that same day. Two days later, as we were driving in a different state Todd called to tell us the offer was accepted. The market had completely changed to a buyer's market and we ultimately saved significant money on it. Todd continued to guide us through the whole process, paperwork, inspections, appraisal etc. and we closed in three different states late April. Without his personal connection and professional guidance we would not have made this purchase. Communication, work ethic, personal interest, market knowledge are some of the reasons we so appreciate working with Todd."
